PlayDate with Kate and Peggy

Once a month artists from a number of backgrounds meet at my studio for PlayDate. Peggy Spence and I bring new ideas and techniques to the group and they, in turn, share their techniques with the group. We have tons of art supplies to play with and try to keep our projects somewhat related to fiber. It is a free form group. The email list is huge and anywhere from 6 to 15 people show up. You can see from the photo that we have our priorities - note the Cheese Nips and Chips Ahoys in the foreground.
Lately we've been working on new methods of painting on fabrics and we're doing round robin art journals.
The day is always stimulating and more fun than one can imagine - exhausting, too.
